Summer Nature Study Ideas-With FREE July Calendar
In my quest to live seasonally, I look forward to each season and look for ways to bring nature into our daily lives…intentionally.
Some of the things I look forward to in the summer are:
- Later evenings
- Growing our food
- Hearing my children play outside under the stars in the evenings
I made this monthly ideas calendar to give myself small daily suggestions in July to have a moment of focus on nature study.
You will notice a few things about this calendar:
There are 31 days in July, to fit everything nicely, we had to add it first at the top.
*Most* days have a nature study suggestion, but not every day. Some days are just a nature fact that you have the choice to dig into more, or just read the fact out loud and let the children ponder the idea.
We included a quote from Charlotte Mason at the end, and beautiful artwork throughout.
The big picture is: Take your children outside…go together and enjoy all this season has to offer!
