Pictures, Books, and Nature Calendar

October has flown by so quickly. This month, I took the children to Bardstown, Kentucky, to tour Farmington Plantation (highly recommended) and other historical museums. We had a typically busy month of harvesting food for winter and homeschool lessons. ♥

Nature Calendar

This month’s new calendar contains new ideas to enjoy nature and learn with your children. As the weather gets colder, I include a few activities that can be completed indoors. As always, use the calendar and rearrange the days according to your routine and lifestyle. Scheduling your days

Our nature calendars reference The Handbook of Nature Study. The book is in the public domain, but it’s more difficult to reference, but not impossible. Here is the link for the online version.

Also included this month: Owl coloring worksheets & November poetry copywork by Robert Frost. (These downloads are attached to the calendar)

PS: With any questions about the calendar this month, please note that after its release, I get an avalanche of traffic worldwide, and email is the best way to contact me. I do not interact with private messages on Facebook. If you email me, I will reply as soon as possible.
